What a fun night with beautiful Tiffany and her handsome husband Jon! This was a wedding celebration to be remembered for so many reasons. The bride & groom entered their reception to the song Happy by Pharrel Williams, and enjoyed their first dance to My Best Friend by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Those two songs could perfectly sum up their love!
We took a little video to share some of the reception fun. Check it out here, and don’t miss:
- Fake Jump Roping while dancing. (We loved this!)
- The kiddoes marching with signs to “Remember the 21st of September” just like the song says! *Thanks to fun Aunt Shirley for organizing

Groom Bobby and his family loves golfing at the beautiful Scarlet and Gray courses at The Ohio State University Golf Club. So, hosting their reception there was an easy decision because of the beautiful location, good food and service, and great “Go Bucks” vibe!
The party go off to a great start with the fun music for the introductions. (Click the song title to hear a sample)
With everyone gathered around in the front room for the grand entrance, Emine and Bobby went directly to their First Dance, and then they cut the cake before everyone sat down for the delicious meal.
After dinner and toasts, the dancing began again with
From the very first song, it was a blow out dance party with a huge variety of great songs. Wow! Emine and Bobby really love to dance, and so did their friends and family! The reception ended with the still huge crowd circled around the bride and groom serenading them with one of their favorites ~ All My Life by K-Ci & Jo Jo!

What a truly FUN Columbus Wedding Reception with Emily and Jordan!
We were so happy to assist these newlyweds in achieving their number one goal for their Columbus wedding reception – FUN! Everyone had an absolute blast!
The reception kicked off with so much fun right from the start.
Here’s what happened. For the Grand Entrance and introductions, the bride and groom choose a different song for each announced pair, including the parents. They also gave us surprise nicknames for each member of the wedding party. This was a big hit. They used snippets of these songs. Sweet Child of Mine. Big Poppa. Party Like a Rock Star. Get Freaky. Let Me Clear My Throat. Jump On It. Cotton Eyed Joe. Sirius.
Once all of the members of the wedding party made their way in and to the dancefloor, and the bride and groom joined them, they all performed a special wedding party dance to Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs
After that dance, with the wedding party and all of the guests circling the dance floor, Emily and Jordan enjoyed their first solo dance as husband and wife to Who I Am With You by Chris Young
From those fun, exciting and sweet first moments, into dinner and toasts, parent dances, a couple of Irish jigs as a surprise for the bride, and a packed dancefloor all night long … the night came to an end too quickly with a everyone on the dancefloor singing along to Piano Man by Billy Joel and then all going outside for a beautiful SPARKLER EXIT.
LEADING. WITH PURPOSE.
INAUGURATION OF DR. ELIZABETH L. PAUL AS
THE 16TH PRESIDENT OF CAPITAL UNIVERSITY
Inaugural Reception, The Capital Center Field House
We were so excited and honored to be chosen to participate in the inauguration of Dr. Elizabeth Paul, the 16th President of Capital University.
It was a dream to work with the talented event staff at Capital, including Nicole and Era. They thought of everything to make the week’s worth of activities happen smoothly and memorably. The entire week was designed with purpose, and we loved all of the taglines, including Connecting, Partnering, Uniting, Learning, Mobilizing, Leading and Creating.
PURPLE POWER! Everyone got to pose in a photo with (the virtual) Dr. Paul, and some lucky people got to pose with the REAL Dr. Paul! All of the fun purple props added a lot of flare to the photo festivities.
Thanks Capital for giving us the chance to meet so many wonderful students, faculty, staff and alumni. We send our very best wishes and congratulations to Sweet 16, Dr. Elizabeth Paul!
We love the Sheraton Hotel at Capitol Square for a whole bunch of reasons, and we know you will, too!
Take a look, we know you will be excited to consider them for a dinner out, a night on the town, a special meeting, or your once in a lifetime wedding and reception.
Located between The Ohio Statehouse and Columbus Commons, and right next door to The Ohio Theater, this is the perfect central downtown location. Also, it’s just a block or two from the beautiful and so-cool Scioto Mile Park and riverfront, and COSI. Walking distance to nightlife and taprooms, there is always something to look at or to do for you and your guests. They’ll be wowed.
It’s no secret that we love Mandy Berryman and the entire sales and catering team at The Sheraton. They are so accommodating, and truly believe in service with a (GREAT BIG) smile. You will feel so taken care of and appreciated, for sure!
Yum! Superstar Chef Matt Smith, was awarded the prestigious ACF award in 2015 for Columbus’ Chef of the year. He and his staff work hard to provide the very best in fresh and fine dining. If you’re ever in need of a Columbus foodie night – stop by the Plaza restaurant, and your view of the gorgeous fountain and patio will enhance the delicious cocktails and dinner. (Try the Blackberry Mojito – you will not be disappointed!)
The recently upgraded rooms at The Sheraton are so quiet and comfortable, with options galore. Not only double and kings, but a club level and suites. Presidential Suite anyone? Sure – you deserve it!
Do yourself a favor, and allow The Sheraton to take care of you and your guests! You’ll be so glad you did.
