We all know that Columbus is cool, and the Short North is one of the reasons why.  We can’t wait to check out all of the new public mural art featured on 11 brick facades along High Street in the Short North Arts District.

Here’s more info for you to share and save: This link at tells all about the initiative, the art, and artists.

Last year, one of our favorites was Summer Spray. During it’s 11-week run, a 1,300-square-foot mural was created outdoors on West Goodale Street, between High Street and Park Street, by 10 local artist over a six-week period. The artists also showcased their work in an exhibition space for 10 weeks in the Short North Arts District. Click here to read about the participating artists and view the live mural-making.

Our new favorite is Pride Circles by Lisa McLymont.

It’s located at Stonewall Columbus, 1160 N High St.

A first-of-its-kind public art installation now has a home in the Short North Arts District. “Pride Circles” by local artist Lisa McLymont is the first ever permanent public art installation to be installed in the public right-of-way in the City of Columbus on a sidewalk where the public is invited to traverse the art as they pass.
