Q: What is the best Happy Hour in Columbus?

A: That one is easy. Forno, in the Short North has our favorite Happy Hour. The food is delicious, the drinks are icy cold, and the service is friendly and so professional. And, the best part is appetizers, pizza, draft beer, wine by the glass AND cocktails are all 50% off. Extra insider tip, make a reservation because they are very busy from 4 to 6 PM Monday thru Friday. 

Q: What is the best local park? 

A: There are too many choices to name just one because Central Ohio has such great outdoor options. For example, Blacklick Woods has an awesome and unique Canopy Walk that you should check out. Inniswood has great walking paths and beautiful and changing seasonal gardens. The Columbus Metro Parks system has so many options. And, seasonally you can stroll and even rent a kayak at the Scioto Mile downtown.

Q:  What is a fun insider secret?

A: The information kiosks on High Street through OSU campus, The Short North, Downtown and German Village have a FUN photo booth feature! We love to take loads of pics.  

Q:  Who won Insider of the year last year?

A:  Joe, from Trolley Pub Columbus. Always a FUN excursion. Give it a try.

Q:  Where can I see high quality FREE jazz on any Tuesday night?

A:  For 20 years, The Pete Mills quartet has helmed a jazz jam session from 8 to 11 PM at Park Street Tavern.  

Q:  How can I arrange a hotel room block for my wedding or family reunion?
